Voting now open for the Coastguard Supporter Young Volunteer of the Year Award 2020

Young volunteers are our lifesaving future.

Volunteering is a big commitment, especially for those starting their careers, starting a family, or studying.

That’s why each year we hold the Coastguard Supporter Young Volunteer of the Year Award, to recognise our extraordinary young volunteers and to give them the opportunity of a lifetime at Outward Bound – an outdoor challenge and adventure, showing people their full potential.

Bradley McKenzie from Coastguard Howick was last year’s winner. He went on a 21-day Outward Bound course to further develop his skills and leadership.

“Outward Bound was an incredible experience,” he said. “It really helped shape my leadership style and gave me the push I needed to sit my Skippers exam. I’m extremely grateful that Coastguard supporters gave me the opportunity to go.”

Thank you to everyone who has voted for the Coastguard Supporter Young Volunteer of the Year Award 2020. Voting has now closed.

The winner will be announced very shortly. Who will it be - Kate (21 years old), Conor (25 years old), Jamie (31 years old) or Todd (26 years old)?
