Whangaruru

The Whangaruru rescue vessel is named R.V. Tangaroa. In mãori mythology, Tangaroa is one of the great gods, the god of the sea.

R.V. Tangaroa is a 6.8 metre Naiad design, Circa constructed, rigid inflatable boat with twin 115hp Yamaha outboard engines.
