Volunteers, including radio operators are available all day every day to assist anybody in a spot of bother while crossing the often dangerous Hokianga Bar. It is a job they take great pride in and do with fantastic skill and extensive training.
Training - Fortnightly on Tuesdays at 1700hrs at the boat shed between Omapere & Opononi (next to the Bowling Club).
