Coastguard Tautiaki Moana and the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council are bringing back the Southern Bluefin Tuna Seminar Series for 2026, now expanded nationwide. 

These sessions are designed for fishers who want to improve their chances of finding tuna, while also making smarter, safer decisions on the water. 

Built on experience, the seminar series was originally developed following a tragic 2024 winter season for the fishing community, creating an opportunity to share practical lessons and encourage safer decision-making offshore.
