Vessel Information

Coastguard Kaipara's dedicated Rescue Vessel, Winstone Rescue, is a 450 Hp, 8.5 metre Naiad. It is an all-weather fast response unit equipped with a comprehensive electronics suite including dual radar. We also carry a full range of rescue and life saving equipment including fire pump, defibulator and oxygen.

We are on the water for a variety of work, including SAR incidents, community events and bar crossing escort. We also spend time doing regular patrols, harbour surveys, training and education displays to promote the Coastguard safety message.
